Permission to Link
	This is a sample of a form asking permission to link to another Web site. This form acts as a license granting permission to link to another's Web site and its copyrighted material according to its terms. When a license is not exclusive, it means that the same rights may also be granted to others.
Internet Privacy Policy
	This sample Internet privacy policy is designed to inform the user, in plain language, how the site gathers information, and what it does with it.
Total Assignment of Copyright
	This is a sample form for a total assignment of copyrights. This particular form assigns (transfers ownership) of all the rights of copyright. By using this form, the assignor (the person making the transfer) does not keep or retain any rights. If the assignor wants to retain any rights at all, they must be clearly specified in the assignment.
Nonexclusive Copyright License
	This is a sample of a nonexclusive copyright license. A license grants permission to use the copyrighted material according to its terms. The terms can dictate such things as the duration, and how and when any of the five rights of copyright can be used. When a license is not exclusive, it means that the same rights may also be granted to others.
Copyright Development and Transfer Agreement
	This is a sample work-for-hire agreement. It illustrates a typical agreement between a Web site manager and a freelance writer hired to produce original content.
Internet Sweepstakes Official Rules
	This form is a sample of official rules for an Internet sweepstakes. A sweepstakes is a game where (1) winners are determined by chance and (2) there is no element of consideration. Consideration means anything of value, and can range from actual monetary payments and purchases to expending a substantial amount of effort to participate. Simply sending an e-mail, mailing a letter, or calling a toll-free number is not consideration in most states.
Model Release Form
	This is a sample model release. If you've taken (or instructed someone else to take) pictures that you want to use, you should obtain model releases from all the persons who appear in the photograph.
Cease and Desist Letter
	This form is a sample cease and desist letter sent in response to copyright infringement. The particular infringement described is the unauthorized use of materials that had previously been a part of the owner's Web site. In this example a derivative work that was essentially identical was used on the infringer's Web site. This letter may be sent by e-mail, but it should also be sent in hard copy by certified mail.
